Is there nothing Ellen can’t get her guests to do? In this clip, Jenna Bush calls her famous parents – President Bush and Laura Bush.
Here’s a little secret – although I’m 33 and have kids and am therefore allegedly a grown-up, I have a mild huge obsession with shows that revolve around high school. Sad but true. I still miss high school dramas like Beverly Hills 90210, Buffy, and The O.C.. Alas.
So it’s no surprise that I *love* Gossip Girl. I can vicariously enjoy the gossipy world of high society high school kids without being part of it. Yes! Here’s the promo for next week’s episode called “Hi Society” which will air December 5th.
Lauren Conrad is best known for her stint on MTV Reality TV shows “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills.” She’s typically known for her sex tape scandal which was revealed by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. The revelation resulted in quite the conflict.
But that’s not the conflict Lauren is fighting to resolve. Well, she may be, but the more important conflict she’s fighting for is to end the crisis in Darfur. Like many other celebrities, she pleads for an end to the fighting in her 20-second “Darfur Now” clip.
Below is Lauren’s clip as well as a clip of some of the atrocities occurring in Darfur.
So Carrie Underwood won two awards, but she’s not the one who actually stole the show. Kellie Pickler (former American Idol Contestant), is the one who truly brought down the house.
Kellie sang her song, “I Wonder” which is about her estranged mother who left when she was only two.
“The song has not only helped me, writing it, performing it every night has been kind of like therapy for me but I think it’s really helped a lot of people who might be going through similar circumstances,” said Kelly on ABC News November 7, 2007.
Have you ever seen TLC’s television show: “What Not to Wear”?
I have to say that I just adore this television show. For those who haven’t seen it, hosts and fashion gurus Stacey London and Clinton Kelly do an excellent job in helping people (mostly women) ditch their old wardrobes and finding something that is much more suitable to their profession and their shape. They give excellent style tips and advice, and literally throw their old clothing and help them get a new wardrobe with the $5000 credit card they provide. The contestants also get makeovers and a new do.
I also love that Stacey and Clinton never encourage women to wear something they might be uncomfortable in because of cut. I have to really admire that because it’s so easy to encourage lots of cleavage, when it’s totally not necessary to look nice.
Get a load of this:
Michael claims that the footage is not actually what it seems, and has been manipulated to look like a TV show proposition. He says, “Most of the footage was actually for a promotional video I was doing for Teen Challenge.”I guess we’ll see.
