
Posh Spice is back — on Ugly Betty, that is. Victoria Beckham appeared in a guest role last season, playing bridesmad to Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams).
According to U.K. Vogue, the Ugly Betty producers enjoyed Victoria Beckham so much they asked her to return to the series in a regular guest role. Well, at least her acting career is going better than her ill-fated line of jeans.

Mr. Blackwell tells it like it is when it comes to the fashionable inept. He is somewhat forgiving however, giving Britney Spears a free pass even though she clearly had many a fashion blunder last year. Mr. Blackwell commented that “it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her [Britney Spears] personal life is in such upheaval. I hope 2008 is a better year for her.”

The Beckham’s NBC reality show been reduced from a series into a one-hour special, entitled “Victoria Beckham: Coming To America,” set to air July 16th at 8pm ET, according to television tattles. NBC originally planned to run six episodes chronicling the Beckham family’s move from Madrid, Spain to the City of Angels. The rumor mill claims the network was turned off by the idea of running a series when they realized that the footage contained “too many scenes of shopping.”
