John Forsythe Dies; Dynasty Star John Forsythe Dead at Age 92

Actor John Forsythe, who starred as Blake Carrington on “Dynasty” and provided the voice of Charlie on “Charlie’s Angels,” has died. Forsythe’s death at age 92 was due to complications from pneumonia after his recent battle with cancer.

John Forsythe’s family said in a statement: “Thankfully, he died as he lived his life, with dignity and grace.”

Forsythe had roles in films like “Destination Tokyo,” ““Kitten With a Whip,” “In Cold Blood,” and “Scrooged,” made guest appearances on TV series and played Bentley Gregg on the sitcom “Bachelor Father” (1957-62), among other stage, TV and film roles.

Robert Culp Death: I Spy, Greatest American Hero Star Dead at Age 79

Robert Culp’s death yesterday at age 79 was quite a surprise. Culp, who starred on TV’s “I Spy” and “The Greatest American Hero,” died after a fall outside of his Hollywood home.

Robert Culp, 79, fell and hit his head during a walk in his neighborhood. A jogger discovered the fallen Culp; he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Queen of Angels hospital in Los Angeles. Read the rest of this entry »

Christian Slater to star in Fox comedy
Christian Slater is giving this TV thing another shot, despite starring in two failed series. Look for Christian Slater to star in a currently untitled comedy pilot on Fox.

Peter Graves Dies; Mission Impossible’s Peter Graves Dead at Age 83

TV’s Mission Impossible star Peter Graves has died; Peter Graves was 83.

Peter Graves’ death appeared to be of a heart attack; he had just returned to his home after having brunch with his family, when he collapsed. One of his daughters attempted CPR, but was unable to revive him. Read the rest of this entry »

Merlin Olsen Dies; Merlin Olsen Dead at Age 69

Sad news today… Merlin Olsen has died at age 69. Merlin Olsen was both an athlete and actor – he starred on both “Little House on the Prairie” and “Father Murphy” and had a long football career with the Los Angeles Rams.
