Bernie Mac was hospitalized last week for pneumonia - and it looks like he’s got a little longer stay ahead of him. While Bernie Mac is in stable condition, he will continue to say in the hospital for a few more weeks.
According to his publicist: “Bernie Mac is in stable condition in a Chicago-area hospital. He is responding well to treatment and hopes to be released in the next few weeks. His family thanks everyone for the well wishes and concern.”

Everything old is new again - especially when it comes to TV ideas. CBS will be remaking the 1970s classic “The Streets of San Francisco,” developing an update of famed cop series that starred Michael Douglas and Karl Malden.
The show’s title will remain “The Streets of San Francisco” and the main characters’ names will be the same, as well as the location, but the story will take place in present day. Read the rest of this entry »

ETonline.com is reporting that Kelsey Grammer has been hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat. This comes on the heels of Kelsey Grammer’s heart attack scare in late May.
As a result of being hospitalized for an irregular heartbeat, Kelsey Grammer has cancelled four television appearances today. It’s believed that the medication Kelsey Grammer was taking for his heart attack may be a contributor to the irregular heartbeat.

Heather Locklear has been in treatment for for weeks to manage her anxiety and depression. According to a friend, the treatment did Heather Locklear well: “Heather’s feeling really great. And she looks beautiful, just radiant.”
Heather Locklear remained under doctors’ care at an Arizona treatment facility - where she also had spa treatments and rode horses. Sounds like vacation, right?

“Golden Girl” star Estelle Getty died today at the age of 84 - Estelle Getty, who suffered from advanced dementia passed away at 5:30 a.m. at her Hollywood Boulevard home.
Her son commented, “She was loved throughout the world in six continents, and if they loved sitcoms in Antarctica she would have been loved on seven continents. She was one of the most talented comedic actresses who ever lived.” Read the rest of this entry »

Why does everyone BUT Andy Dick see that he’s on a major downward spiral? The latest is Andy Dick’s arrest in California today for public urination, causing a disturbance and sex charges.

Oh man. Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady on The Brady Bunch, was a bit hungover during a radio interview last week.
