Kind of a cute shout-out to any parents who watch the hot HBO series.

Emmys 2010 Worst Dressed Pictures: Emmy Awards Fashion Disasters January Jones, Anna Paquin, Lauren Graham

Is it just us or were there more Emmy Awards fashion disasters than usual this year? Check out our rundown for Emmys 2010 worst dressed in these pictures. Do you think these ladies missed the mark at the Emmys, or are we being too harsh?

First up, check out Mad Men’s January Jones in the picture above and tell us that doesn’t scream at the top of a million Emmys 2010 worst dressed lists? We think she’s trying to be bold and risky, but the kooky shell cup bra, the shiny blue color and the asymmetrical hemline have us wishing she had played it a little more conservative.

Anna Paquin’s Emmy dress is shouting “Toro!” as she channels her inner matador with this Alexander McQueen design that is oh-so-wrong for anyone at an awards show event.

Glee’s Dianna Agron is all dolled up in grandma’s doilies! She’s so young and gorgeous – why didn’t she choose a dress to reflect that? This just comes off as a bit dowdy.

30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden is sporting a prom frock, or so it seems – the color, the layers of ruffles… we would have loved to see her in something young and flirty instead.

Oh, Lauren Graham, we so wish you didn’t make our Emmys 2010 worst dressed list, but your dress was a straight up fashion disaster. We’re not sure what we hate more – the up-to-there slit or the wonky poofy draping at the top.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Married!

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were married this weekend in a Malibu wedding – congrats to the “True Blood” stars, who met on the job and fell in love!

A rep for the actress said: “Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were married on Saturday evening in Malibu surrounded by their family and friends.”

Anna Paquin’s wedding pictures show it was a fairly casual affair – after they exchanged vows, they headed across the street to a beach house to listen to a band and jump in the water.

Anna Paquin wore a white halter-neck gown, while Stephen Moyer was dressed handsomely in a dark suit.

A source told People.com: “It was a beautiful evening to get married and the sunset was gorgeous. Anna and Stephen seemed very excited to celebrate their wedding day with their families and close friends.”

True Blood creator Alan Ball, as well as cast of the series – Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) and Carrie Preston (Arlene Fowler) – were reportedly onhand for Anna Paquin’s and Stephen Moyer’s big day.

True Blood Stephen Moyer says of the recent love affair with all things vampire, “If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before. So that’s pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive.”

Moyer adds, “Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?”

HBO Renews “True Blood” for Season 4

With a runaway hit on their hands, HBO has renewed “True Blood” for season 4, just two episodes into this season!

Look for season 4 to premiere in Summer 2011.

Anna Paquin Bisexual: Paquin Admits “I’m Bisexual” in Give a Damn PSA (Video)

News that Anna Paquin is bisexual is burning up the internet, as Paquin admits in the “Give a Damn” PSA video, “I’m bisexual. And I give a damn.”

Anna Paquin, who stars as Sookie Stackhouse on HBO’s “True Blood,” announced that she is bisexual in a public service announcement for True Colors Fund’s Give a Damn campaign.

Other celebrities featured in the Give a Damn PSA series are Kim Kardashian, Elton John, Cynthia Nixon, Clay Aiken, Whoopi Goldberg, Wanda Sykes, Jason Mraz, Mya, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne and Cyndi Lauper.

Anna Paquin says in the PSA, “One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country.”

The Give a Damn campaign seeks to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.

Paquin is engaged to True Blook co-star Stephen Moyer.

The couple on True Blood – engaged! Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who co-star on HBO’s vampire series “True Blood,” have announced they are engaged.

While no details have yet been revealed about the True Blood couple getting engaged, one thing’s for certain – Anna Paquin, 27, and Stephen Moyer, 39, have already played out nude love scenes on the series. So, they’ve got that goin’ on.

Anna Paquin plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse, while Stephen Moyer plays vampire Bill Compton on True Blood.

Paquin won a 1994 Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in The Piano.

Moyer has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and a daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.

“True Blood” Beverage Tie-In for HBO Series – Order Now!

A “True Blood” beverage has been cleverly created as a tie-in for the HBO vampire series. Pre-order your True Blood beverage of choice – they’ll be available this September.

The Daily News describes the True Blood beverage: “The blood-orange carbonated drink has a slightly tart and lightly sweet flavor that is sure to taste better than the O negative blood consumed by the show’s fictional vampires.”

The True Blood beverage will be called “Tru Blood”… and, yep… it looks a bit bloody to be sure.

James Costos, vice president of licensing and retail at HBO describes the reason behind marketing the drinkable fake blood: “From its first season, fans have been enamored with the show and have expressed a keen interest in the Tru Blood beverage. We’re extremely excited to be able to bring this original drink to life.”

The True Blood “synthetic blood nourishment beverage” comes in blood types such as A, B, AB, and O.
