Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is pregnant, her rep tells Usmagazine.com – and it’s a “medical miracle” considering Padma Lakshmi’s struggle with endometriosis.

Rick Bayless, a Chicago chef, was the winner of last night’s finale of Bravo TV’s Top Chef Masters. Rick Bayless is a chef and co-owner of Frontera Grill and Topolobampo.
As Top Chef Master, Rick Bayless won a $100,000 prize – he is donating it to Frontera Farmer Foundation, an organization that supports small Midwestern sustainable farms.
Host of “Top Chef,” Padma Lakshmi, is reportedly in talks to star in a comedy series for NBC.
The development deal with NBC and Universal Media Studios would have Padma Lakshmi star in her own sitcom, as “a woman working in the culinary world.” Read the rest of this entry »

Who won last night’s finale of Top Chef season 5? In the end, Hosea Rosenberg was crowned the Top Chef winner, with his final three courses beating Top Chef finalists Carla Hall and Stefan Richter.
Hosea Rosenberg said of his Top Chef win, “It felt amazing to win, but to have it come down neck and neck with Stefan just made it all that sweeter. That was the icing on the cake.
