Sadly, Kris Allen posted on Twitter that he was cancelling his Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien appearance on Wednesday due to a death in his family (Allen’s grandmother passed away). American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta will be filling in on Conan.
Kris Allen tweeted: “I know I was supposed to do conan on wed, but there was a death in my family. But everyone watch @Allison4Realzzz on Wed. She is filling in.” He followed it up with “by filling in I mean @Allison4Realzzz is gonna rock Conan’s face off on Wednesday.”
Sad news to report this morning – Ed McMahon, the legendary Johnny Carson sidekick on the Tonight Show, is dead at age 86.
The news has just broke this morning, but NBC was informed the Ed McMahon was dead by his agent. McMahon died at UCLA Medical Center; cause of death is not yet known. Read the rest of this entry »
