TNT has announced the cancellation of Raising the Bar, the legal drama starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar. While the first season of Raising the Bar pulled decent viewer numbers, season two’s premiere saw a huge decline.

There’s TV life after “My Name Is Earl” for actor Jason Lee – he’ll be taking on the starring role in TNT’s “Delta Blues” – playing a Memphis police officer and moonlighting Elvis impersonator.
Awesome news for Southland fans… the drama series will find new life after NBC canceled it – on TNT.

TNT’s drama series “Saving Grace” is planning to end next summer with a nine-episode final season to air in 2010.
TNT offered Fox TV Studios, Saving Grace’s producer, a full fourth season pickup, but the studio declined, citing financial reasons (most likely star Holly Hunter’s paycheck!). Read the rest of this entry »
Big things are in store for the hilarious Amy Sedaris – first up, she’ll be guest starring in multiple episodes of The Closer, playing Fritz’s sister when the new season begins in January. Other big Amy Sedaris news is her sitcom deal with Fox.
We haven’t seen Jada Pinkett Smith on TV since “A Different World” in the early 90s – but she’s making a comeback to the small screen, starring in the TNT pilot “Time Heals.”
