Inside the mag, Tina Fey chats about 30 Rock, beauty and those trademark glasses, saying “I don’t wear them very much in real life because I need them to see only far away. And I don’t wear them when I am dressed up, because then I would look like Tootsie.”

‘30 Rock’ denies McDonald’s Product Placement

After Thursday’s episode of 30 Rock, loads of fans were left asking if they were watching an episode of the hit comedy, or a 30 minute McDonald’s Ad. Once scene in the episode was even set in McDonald’s and also featured a discussion on what exactly makes the McFlurry so great. Tina Fey has decided to put all of those McRumors to rest.

Fey says, “It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the references to McDonald’s in last night’s episode of 30 Rock were in no way product placement. (Nor were they an attempt at product placement that fell through.) We received no money from the McDonald’s Corporation. We were actually a little worried they might sue us. That’s just the kind of revenue-generating masterminds we are. “

For years, Tina Fey’s scar on her face has been a mystery – but how did she get it? Tina Fey’s husband finally explains Tina Fey’s scar in the latest Vanity Fair. The scar is a reminder of a tragic incident when she was just five – Tina Fey’s face was slashed by a stranger when she was in the front yard of her home.

Tina Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond explains:
“It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen.”

So, why hasn’t Tina Fey explained how she got the scar before? She feels like “it’s impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it.”
