Since Elisabeth Hasselbeck will still be on maternity leave when the new season of The View kicks off September 8, the ladies at the table will be joined by a number of guest co-hosts. First up – Meghan McCain on September 9.
While a full roster of guest hosts has not yet been announced, The View will also welcome former Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill to the table on September 23 and 24.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and husband Tim Hasselbeck welcomed a baby boy Sunday at 2:49 p.m. – the Hasselbecks named the baby Isaiah Timothy.

Uh-oh. Is The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck guilty of plagiarism? Author Susan Hassett is suing Elisabeth, claiming that Hasselbeck stole her book idea when she wrote and published her Celiac Disease book called “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide.”
