Congratulations to “Simple Life” star Nicole Richie and musician Joel Madden — tonight the couple had a baby girl! The baby weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. and they named her Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

Nicole Richie was due to give birth any time over the next week, but according to US Weekly she’s in the hospital to give birth right now! Exciting! They apparently didn’t know whether it would be a boy or a girl, so I’m eagerly waiting to find out!

As we see an ever-expanding Nicole Richie during her pregnancy (who knew the super skinny “Simple Life” star could expand that much?), the burning question is when is Nicole Richie’s due date?

Uh oh. Looks like Paris Hilton may have to fall back on some of her “Simple Life” work experience – her grandfather, Barron Hilton, announced that he will be donating 97 percent of his fortune to charity. 97 percent of what is currently a $2.3 billion fortune, that is.

Former “Simple Life” co-star and forever heiress Paris Hilton was photographed zinging down a Berlin slope on an snow tube. Not much news there, but nice to see Paris Hilton fully clothed.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before a Jessica Sierra sex tape made news. For those uninformed (or uninterested), Jessica Sierra, a former “American Idol” finalist, was recently arrested for the second time (for disorderly intoxication), resisted arrest and offered sexual favors to the arresting officers. She also spouted off racial slurs and vomited.

Today, she pleaded not guilty to the charges, but will remain in jail until her hearing on December 20th. And now – just in time for the holidays – a Jessica Sierra sex tape surfaces. TMZ is reporting that the tape will be released this year.

Jessica Sierra could face up to eleven years in prison, but at least she can extend her fifteen minutes with a porno tape (hey, it worked for Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian!).

Seems “The Simple Life” star and professional heiress does have standards after all – she won’t do the reality series “The Bachelorette,” saying “I don’t usually like the guys that would want to be on that kind of show.”

So, put the rumor of Paris Hilton starring on the next installment of “The Bachelorette” to rest. Not to worry – I’m sure we’ll be seeing her around.
