
While it was The Office spin-off that was to air immediately following the Super Bowl, now the original Office will be filling that timeslot.
Watch for The Office to air after the February 1, 2009 Super Bowl – an hour-long episode, no less! No details so far on the plot, but executive producer Paul Lieberstein (Toby Flenderson on the show) told EW.com that more attention may be given to cast members “who only get grunts or reactions when Michael says something stupid.”

B.J. Novak, who plays shady Dunder-Mifflin temp-turned-manager on The Office (he also is a writer and producer on the show) is in talks to play a soldier in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglorius Bastards.” Not a bad gig.
Quentin Tarantino already has his sights set on casting Brad Pitt in “Inglorius Bastards,” his World War II film about Jewish resistance fighters in Vichy-era France. B.J. Novak would play Private Utivich.

You know that “The Office” got its start as a British TV comedy and jumped the big pond in a U.S. version that’s done very nicely for star Steve Carell and company. But how will The Office translate in Russia?

Mindy Kaling, who plays Kelly Kapoor on The Office, will be hosting the first “The Office Games” being held in Scranton, Pennsylvania on July 19.

Amy Ryan, the Oscar nominated actress who had the meaty role as Michael Scott’s love interest on last season’s finale of The Office, is set to appear again on the series this fall.
