Ricky Gervais to Host Golden Globes in January (Video)

Finally… Ricky Gervais, who never fails to entertain at awards shows, has been given the honor of hosting the Golden Globes awards in January.

Look for Ricky Gervais to rock the 67th Annual Golden Globes on January 17. Nominations will be announced December 15.

Ricky Gervais commented on the hosting job, saying, “Not only is this the biggest Hollywood celebration of the industry, which includes both film and TV, but also an environment where I feel I can get free reign as a host. I have resisted many other offers like this, but there are just some things you don’t turn down.”

Ricky Gervais has won four Emmys and three Golden Globes.

The highly anticipated wedding of Pam and Jim on The Office is almost here. Until The Office wedding episode airs on October 8 at 9 p.m., take a look at these wedding pictures of Pam and Jim’s big day, as well as the rest of the Dunder Mifflin officemates at the rehearsal dinner.

Jenna Fischer promises that the wedding is “going to have all of the romance, all of the love and tons and tons of crazy.” Sounds about right.

The Office’s soon-to-be-newlyweds, Pam and Jim, have a wedding website devoted just to their upcoming nuptials. Check out Celebration of Marriage: Pam & Jim – mostly a lot of “coming soon” pop ups, but a couple of pages are filled with content.

Under “About Us,” Pam and Jim tell site visitors “Together, we’re easily the seventh most interesting couple in Northeastern Pennsylvania paper sales.”

The guest book also offers up some friendly comments from characters on The Office. Leave your own well wishes!

The Office star John Krasinski and his girlfriend, actress Emily Blunt, are engaged. Krasinski and Blunt have been dating since last November.

John Krasinski’s rep relays the wedding bell news, saying “We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged.”

Seems like not so long ago we were reporting that The Office’s Jenna Fischer was getting a divorce… well, now she’s engaged. Back for round two of the marriage thing, it seems.

Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam on The Office and her boyfriend, writer Lee Kirk, got engaged last week while on a vacation in Europe.

Jenna and Lee have been dating since January 2008; Fischer was previously married to filmmaker James Gunn for seven years.
