More details about Mischa Barton’s arrest have now been revealed. Former “The O.C.” star Mischa Barton had been smoking pot prior to her DUI arrest and was charged for possession of drugs as well.
The cops pulled over Mischa Barton after she straddled two lanes of traffic. Barton blew a 0.12 on the breathalyzer test and had prescription drugs and marijuana in her possession. The prescription drugs were reportedly not in her name.
What’s next for Mischa Barton? Call me crazy, but I’m thinking we’ll be hearing about rehab for the young star soon enough.
Mischa Barton isn’t going to let a little DUI arrest get in the way of her prior engagements. New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that Mischa Barton will continue to host a party at the Luxor Hotel’s CatHouse lounge this weekend.
According to a spokesperson for the CatHouse lounge, “We are aware of Mischa Barton’s incident last night, but at present she is still expected to host the CatHouse Grand Opening at the Luxor on December 29th. We will let you know if anything changes.”
After being arrested earlier for DUI and possession of illegal narcotics AND driving with a suspended license, Mischa Barton left the West Hollywood sherrif’s station with her parents.

Here we go with yet another Hollywood star getting busted for DUI. The latest to join the DUI arrest club is former “The O.C.” star Mischa Barton.
Mischa Barton was arrested in West Hollywood at 2:46 AM this morning and according to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s office, Mischa Barton’s arrest was for “driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license.” Sweet.
Mischa Barton is being held in custody following her DUI arrest — bail was set at $10,000.
