Heidi Montag recently confirmed that she and Spencer Pratt had broken off their engagement. Heidi Montag tells Us Weekly:
“I’m glad we came clean. It took a lot of pressure off our relationship. I’ve been running into old friends and rekindling relationships. It’s easier now. I’m in it for the long haul.”
Spencer Pratt is feeling good about their renewed relationship, saying, “We’re having more fun now… I still want to be with her the rest of my life.”
Question is… does anybody care about “The Hills” couple anymore?

Oh, just imagine it. “Laguna Beach” rivals Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad together again! Well, maybe…
E! Online is reporting that Kristin Cavallari may join the cast of “The Hills.” While Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad were in a love triangle with Stephen Colletti, now you’ve got to wonder if there would be additional bad blood between the two. After all, while Cavallari has done some bit parts here and there, it’s really LC who is at the top of her game with MTV’s top rated show “The Hills.”
Of course, there is no confirmation from MTV about the rumor.
Spencer Pratt was on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show this morning, saying that he’s “madly in love with Heidi (Montag) and trying to win her back to marry her.”
Spencer Pratt also told Seacrest, “In my mind I’m not moving on or looking for dates. I don’t know where Heidi is, I know she needs her space, but I don’t want to get back to my bachelor days. Heidi is the most perfect girl on the planet.”
Spencer Pratt is keeping some of the details about his relationship with Heidi Montag hush-hush however: “Eight episodes are going to clarify [what happened in the finale]. It’s top secret. I think the wedding is definitely on pause, last I heard.”
Guess we’ll just have to wait for those upcoming episodes!

Since the season finale had Heidi Montag driving off and her wedding plans with Spencer Pratt on hold, many fans of the series believe the lack of an engagement ring means Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have officially broken up.
Does this mean that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are over, or should we plan on them getting back together and going on with the wedding in the next season?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lauren Conrad speaks specifically about the nail polish discrepancy – during an episode that takes place during one night, LC’s red nail polish is here one moment, gone the next.
