E! Renews “Kendra” for Season 2; Two Specials to Air

Looks like people are still interested in watching Kendra Wilkinson’s reality show – E! has announced that they’ve picked up “Kendra” for a second season of 12 episodes.

Kendra had the largest E! premiere in June since The Anna Nicole Show in 2002 and averages 2 million viewers.

Kendra fans can also look forward to two specials airing in December – one when their baby is born, and the other when Kendra and hubby Hank Baskett move to New Jersey.

Former Girls Next Door/Hugh Hefner girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson is pregnant. Wilkinson and fiancé Hank Baskett are expecting their first child together.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett currently star on their own E! reality series, “Kendra.”

Wilkinson reports, “Hank and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together. We are touched by the outpouring of support by our family, friends and fans.”

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are getting married in a Playboy Mansion wedding on June 27.

Hugh Hefner may sell Playboy to Virgin Media millionaire Richard Branson – at least, Hugh Hefner is considering the Playboy sale.

Hugh Hefner founded Playboy in 1953 – but in this economy, Playboy has taken a hit too, suffering losses of $13.7 million in the first quarter of 2009. Currently, Playboy magazine sells three million copies per issue down from its peak of 6.6 million copies in the early 1970s. Blame the internet!

But will Hugh Hefner sell Playboy? Really? The 83-year-old may just do that, with a price tag of $300 million.

Holly Madison Suffers Injury, Sidelined from Dancing with the Stars Rehearsal

This season of Dancing with the Stars has got to have the most injuries of any other. This time, it’s Holly Madison who is sidelined from DWTS rehearsals for a rib injury that’s causing her some pain.

Holly Madison first experienced pain before last week’s performance, but things got worse Thursday during rehearsal.

According to Madison’s rep: “While she is not suffering from a broken rib, she does continue to feel a great deal of discomfort and was prescribed pain medication. She is committed to the show and her partner, Dmitry and will rest when she can. She fully hopes and, at this time, expects to dance on Monday.”

Rumor Control: Holly Madison Replacing Jewel on Dancing with the Stars?

Here’s the rumor o’ the day: The Girls Next Door’s Holly Madison may replace Jewel on Dancing with the Stars. But, is this piece of gossip true?

It’s true that Jewel suffered a tendonitis knee injury, but the singer has maintained that she’ll go on with the DWTS competition.

Now comes word that Holly Madison is joining the Dancing with the Stars cast. What gives?

UsWeekly is reporting the news, but so far no comment from ABC.

Guess we’ll find out for sure when Dancing with the Stars debuts Monday, March 9 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Former Girls Next Door star Holly Madison and boyfriend Criss Angel have called it quits, citing a “conflict of schedules.” E! News reported the Holly Madison, Criss Angel break up today.

Holly Madison apparently felt “she couldn’t devote 100% of her time to him in Vegas, at the expense of her own career and her goals.”

Holly Madison Responds to Quitting Playboy Editor Job

Holly Madison has taken to her blog to respond to the gossip about her quitting her Playboy editor job. First of all, it’s true – Holly did quit… but she wants you to know why.

“So it’s out on the gossip sites that I quit my job at Playboy, which is true. I quit for several reasons: 1. I moved to Vegas and that job doesn’t pay enough to make a commute worthwhile ( I never cared about the salary when I got the job-I made my money doing Girls Next Door and I just did the job because I loved it.) 2. After two years of it, I no longer found it challenging. It got to be routine, which was sad for me, since I was initially so passionate about the job and the creative aspects involved. 3. It was awkward. Not that anyone tried to make it awkward or didn’t treat me fairly . . . it just was.

It annoys me when people call the job fake as if it was just a set up for the show. If I had wanted a fake career for Girls Next Door I would have stuck with the jewelry line because that required very little of my time. I spent way more than full time directing shoots, editing, making mock layouts and approving retouching.

So as you can imagine, when one is trying to move on with their life, it isn’t beneficial to spend so much time on something that doesn’t pay much and sadly enough is no longer rewarding to you.
But I loved my job while I had it, appreciate the opportunity and the experience greatly and wish whoever takes my place the best.

Kendra Wilkinson Us Weekly Interview Apology

Kendra Wilkinson’s Us Weekly interview is a big deal on the net this weekend – mostly because she shot off her big yap about the goings on with Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion. Not to worry though, she’s already given an apology for her mindless babble.

So, what happened in the Kendra Wilkinson Us Weekly interview?

First, Kendra Wilkinson cheated on Hef, sneaking out to have sex…. second, she says she and Hefner were “intimate” (barf), she called Hef her sugar daddy… and lastly, she says she’s against his whole multiple girlfriend thing now that she’s out of the house.

Kendra went to the Playboy Mansion and personally apologized, as well as telling E! – “I’m really bad at interviews and anyone who knows me knew I meant no harm. I’m a goofball. Mostly I’m very sorry to have hurt Hef. Playboy made me who I am and Hef has done more for me than anyone else.”
