Old Hugh Hefner, 84, spilled the news on Twitter that he and Crystal Harris, 24, had gotten engaged.

Last night, Hef tweeted, “When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory.”

He later clarified that yes, he and Crystal Harris were engaged, noting: “Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn’t mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all.”

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris started dating almost two years ago.

Karissa Shannon, if you need reminding, is the Playboy Playmate that was dating Playboy’s jurassic founder Hugh Hefner.

TMZ.com reports that Spencer Pratt was packing and moving stuff out of the home her shared with Heidi and discovered the video of Karissa Shannon and Heidi.

How fortuitous!

Before you get too excited about the idea of a Karissa Shannon, Heidi Montag sex tape, be warned that while Karissa says the tape does exist, she doesn’t think Spencer has it… and will sue him if he ever tries to release it.

Watch Kendra Wilkinson discuss the sex tape “Kendra Exposed” on the upcoming finale of her E! reality show finale.

Kendra says during an interview on her reality show: “It bothers me because people are going to judge me and stuff. I just hope to God nobody looks at me like a porn star. I just hope they don’t press play because that’s not me. I mean, that was me, but that’s not me now.”

New York Daily News is reporting that pre-orders for Kendra’s sex tape are the most of any release in Vivid Entertainment’s history.

Kendra Wilkinson’s sex tape is said to be released by Vivid Entertainment, the same company that brought you Kim Kardashian’s sexcapades.

Wilkinson’s reps tell OK! Magazine: “Kendra’s attorneys are currently evaluating and pursuing Kendra’s rights with respect to the purported video and any third parties involved in the possible sale, reproduction or distribution of the same.”

Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid commented, “We know that Kendra has millions of fans and we feel that it’s rare to find well-produced, hardcore footage of a star of her magnitude. The tape was brought to us by a third party and after consulting with our attorneys, we are confident in our right to distribute it. We’ve been trying to reach Kendra but have so far been unsuccessful. We therefore made the decision to release ‘Kendra Exposed’ to stores across the country by the end of May.”

Kendra Exposed was made before Wilkinson moved into the Playboy mansion and became part of “The Girls Next Door,” and well before she met now-husband Hank Baskett.

Kendra’s rep said that “During this difficult time, Kendra and her family would greatly appreciate the respect of their privacy.”

Despite the request for privacy, Kendra is reportedly going to include mention of it on her reality series.

Turn off the cameras during sexy time, folks.

A nearby development project put the Hollywood sign at risk of being torn down, but thanks to generous donations from the likes of Hefner, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, the legendary sign stays.

Hugh Hefner gave the remaining amount of money for the Trust for Public Land to purchase the lot next to the sign.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Trust for Public Land held a news conference to give the good news.

Hefner said in a statement, “As I’ve said before, the Hollywood sign is Hollywood’s Eiffel Tower and I’m pleased to help preserve such an important cultural landmark.”

Hugh Hefner’s twin girlfriends, Kristina and Karissa Shannon, are moving out of the mansion… but they won’t be too far away for a booty call (yuck) – they’re relocating to the Playmate House.

Hefner and girlfriend Crystal Harris are getting “more serious,” and the twins want to do promotional work for Playboy.

Hefner commented, “They’ve been hanging out with a lot of the other Playmates and they see these girls traveling across the country to do promotion. They would like to be doing that, too.”

The E! series The Girls Next Door will continue even with the girls out of the mansion.

Kendra Wilkinson told E! News: “We’re happy and healthy and enjoying every second with little Hank.”

Hank and Kendra were married in June at the Playboy Mansion.

Hugh Hefner sent his best to Kendra Wilkinson, saying, “I send my love to Kendra, Hank and the baby on this memorable day.”

Kendra had the largest E! premiere in June since The Anna Nicole Show in 2002 and averages 2 million viewers.

Kendra fans can also look forward to two specials airing in December – one when their baby is born, and the other when Kendra and hubby Hank Baskett move to New Jersey.
