Jason Bateman sits down with Jon Stewart in this Daily Show video clip to talk up his new movie with Ryan Reynolds, “The Change-Up.” Bateman is the first to admit it’s a premise that’s been done before, but offers up the promise of some great R-rated post-switch goodness.

As for that Arrested Development movie? Bateman says, “The movie, yes is in the works… however… we feel like real tools when asked this question… because there’s never a significant update.”

Seems there are offers still to be made, as Bateman shares: “We will make this movie the second they make the boss’ deal… I hope they give him [Mitch Hurwitz] everything he’s asking for because the man is the second coming.”
