If it’s good enough for 90210, why not give the makeover/update treatment to Melrose Place? A new Melrose Place isn’t confirmed yet, but hey, here’s one rumor that doesn’t seem that far-fetched.
Lisa Rinna, former Melrose Place star, had the scoop at TV Guide’s post-Emmy party, saying, “I’ve heard a rumor of them bringing back the show like they did 90210. I heard that it’s somewhere at the CW.” Read the rest of this entry »

Well, that was speedy. The new 90210 has already been given a full season order, after less than a month of episodes. Then again, the 90210 greenlight isn’t so surprising giving the record breaking numbers for the two-hour premiere on the CW.
And, that’s not all! A new fresh face will be coming to 90210 – a new character by the name of Ozzie (played by Michael Trevino from The Riches, Cane). No details yet on how his character will fit in with the res of the West Bev kids.

We all know there’s pressure for Hollywood actresses to be thin – but take a look at 90210 leading ladies Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes and we may be talking a little too skinny. Even their producers and co-stars are a bit worried that an eating disorder may be to blame.
According to a source close to the show, 90210 producers and co-stars “want the girls to gain weight,” saying, “They [Jessica Stroup, Shenae Grimes] are trying too hard to be skinny, and it’s started to wear on them. It’s just not healthy.” Read the rest of this entry »

All that hoop-de-doo about Shannen Doherty’s return to 90210 and her time on the new series is almost over. While Jennie Garth will do five more episodes of 90210, Shannen Doherty is not expected to return to the show as Brenda.
Shannen Doherty only signed on for four episodes of 90210, saying, “They asked me to do a lot more. I’m in the middle of pitching a show, [so] I couldn’t commit to more than [I did].”

With no advanced copy of the 90210 pilot released, the entertainment media had to sit tight and watch the new Beverly Hills 90210 with the rest of us before releasing their reviews. Did you tune in for 90210? What did you think of the revamped version of the old classic?
We can tell you that there was a mixed bag of 90210 reviews – check ‘em out: Read the rest of this entry »

Sex sells, right? The CW is giving it a whirl with another set of racy Gossip Girl print ads (you may recall the last promos that exclaimed “OMFG”) – this time the sexy Gossip Girl ads include reviews of the show, saying, “Every parent’s nightmare,” “Very bad for you,” “A nasty piece of work” and “Mind-blowingly inappropriate.”
Way to turn a negative into a positive – as each of these downer reviews accompanies a racy picture of characters from Gossip Girl, played by Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick. Scandalous! Read the rest of this entry »
