The Melrose Place remake has its first star signed on – actress Katie Cassidy will play the role of an up-and-coming publicist on Melrose.
Katie Cassidy will also appear on CBS’ Harper’s Island, a murder mystery series. She’s the 22-year-old daughter of David Cassidy (The Partridge Family).
No Doubt has a new concert tour to pimp – so check them out on the season finale of Gossip Girl. This will be the first time that No Doubt has performed together in five years, playing “Stand and Deliver” on the May 11 episode of Gossip Girl.

The rumors have been swirling that American Dreams’ star Brittany Snow may play Lily van der Woodsen in the Gossip Girl spin-off, but E! Online is now confirming the scoop. You can expect Brittany Snow on the new GG spinoff, with Krysten Ritter set to play her sister.
In fact, it was Krysten Ritter that confirmed the Brittany Snow casting: “They just cast Brittany Snow. It’s definitely official, and I think I’m the first one to know that. It wasn’t official earlier, I saw on the Internet, but now it is official.”
Shannen Doherty will return to 90210 in an upcoming episode of the CW series. Doherty was originally signed on for six episodes of the Beverly Hills, 90210 update and was not expected to reprise her role again.
Now begs the question: will Shannen Doherty’s Brenda and Tori Spelling’s Donna appear in any scenes together?
The Jonas Brothers are an unstoppable force – their latest appearance will be on the CW network February 10, hosting an evening of “90210″ and “Privileged.” Naturally, this gives the Jonas Brothers an opportunity to promote their new 3D concert film.

Nicole Richie has landed what seems to be the perfect role – as a snooty girl – on CW’s Gossip Girl. Seems like it won’t be much of a stretch, plus she did a decent job on her guest starring gig on Chuck.
