Over at The CW, they have canceled Privileged, with creator Rini Mimoun commenting, “It’s truly heartbreaking. I’m so grateful to everyone out there who supported our little show and fell in love with Megan Smith. She was the most delightful character I’ve ever had the pleasure to write and watching JoAnna Garcia bring her to life every day was a gift I will never forget. It’s rumored that the planned Gossip Girl spinoff could be over before it even started, according to Nikki Finke. Has CW canceled the Gossip Girl spinoff, starring Brittany Snow?

Shannen Doherty spilled the beans at last night’s Race to Witch Mountain premiere, telling E!: “You’re the first people I’ve told. It is the finale, so you can probably expect a lot of drama.”
The Melrose Place remake has its first star signed on – actress Katie Cassidy will play the role of an up-and-coming publicist on Melrose.
Katie Cassidy will also appear on CBS’ Harper’s Island, a murder mystery series. She’s the 22-year-old daughter of David Cassidy (The Partridge Family).
