Looks like “The Bachelor 6’s” Byron Velvick didn’t want to press charges against Mary Delgado for battery after all.
Byron did call the police about a fight with Delgado in their truck – which ended in her arrest last Wednesday. According to the Pinellas’ County sheriff, the couple “became involved in an argument which turned physical. … [Byron] told deputies she started striking him in the chest while he pushed her to her side of the truck.” Mary Delgado “eventually struck him on the mouth, splitting his upper lip on the left side.”
He called the authorities, but did not want to press charges, according to the sheriff.
Season six’s “The Bachelor” winner, Mary Delgado, was arrested just hours after her appearance on “The Bachelor 11″ reunion. Her arrest in Tampa, Florida for “battery – strike or touch” occurred at 12:35 AM Wednesday. She was released the same day. She and Byron Velvick (season six’s bachelor) are engaged — during the reunion show, they said they will be getting married this month.
