So, the whole drama that was the last season of The Bachelor ends with an engagement – yep, Jason Mesnick, who dumped Melissa Rycroft on national TV and reversed his decision to choose Molly Malaney is now engaged to Malaney.

Jason Mesnick proposed to Molly Malaney in New Zealond, with a source saying, “Jason can do what he should have done in the last time he was here, and ask Molly to marry him.”

So much for keeping the identity of the next star of The Bachelor under wraps – a contestant on the next installment of the series, Brittney Gammel, reveals that The Bachelorette reject Jake Pavelka will be the next man looking for love on the 14th season of The Bachelor.

The Bachelor hasn’t begun filming yet, but that didn’t keep Learjet pilot Brittney Gammel from spilling the beans to reporters.

A network spokesperson commented, “We are not going to confirm who The Bachelor is or if this woman is even of the bachelorettes. People need to tune into Dancing With the Stars on October 13 to find out the real identity of the next Bachelor.”

Looks like dumped Bachelor finalist and Dancing With the Stars contestant Melissa Rycroft is getting her man after all. Melissa Rycroft is engaged to Dallas insurance agent Tye Strickland; the couple have dated on and off for more than two years.

Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland got back together after Rycroft’s engagement to The Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick ended.

Rycroft was the second runner-up on Dancing with the Stars and landed a summer job with Good Morning America.

Holly Madison is filling in for Jewel on Dancing with the Stars… but what about the vacancy left by Nancy O’Dell? Rumors are flying that jilted Melissa Rycroft from The Bachelor will hit the dance floor.

While neither Melissa Rycroft nor ABC is commenting on the rumored replacement, we’ll find out soon enough – the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars airs tonight, Monday March 9th at 8/7c.

Wow, talk about no downtime between the end of The Bachelor and the beginning of The Bachelorette – Jillian Harris, the third runner-up on The Bachelor will take on the reigns of The Bachelorette, premiering May 18 on ABC.

Jillian Harris is a 29-year-old interior designer.

The announcement was made by the host of “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose,” Chris Harrison: “It was really a pretty easy decision for us to make. There was one girl on (The Bachelor) this season that really captured America’s heart and the groundswell of support for her to be the next Bachelorette was overwhelming. Ladies and gentlemen, help me welcome our new Bachelorette, Jillian!”

Former “The Bachelor” winner Mary Delgado has gotten herself into trouble again – this time, she was arrested in Texas for refusing to leave a bar. Mary Delgado’s mugshot picture is above, with more Byron Velvick (The Bachelor) and Mary Delgado pictures after the jump.

Mary Delgado was drunk, claiming that it was her “constitutional right” to stay at the bar for as long as she wanted.

Mary Delgado was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.

Here are Mary Delgado pictures – she is a former Buccaneers NFL cheerleader, but became “famous” when she accepted a proposal from Byron Velvick on 2004’s “The Bachelor.”
