Finally, an award show we can sink our teeth into. Have to admit it was kind of nice to see the stars get dressed up again and hit the red carpet for the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) 2008 Awards.

Wondering what “Frank TV” is and who exactly is Frank?
He’s Frank Caliendo of Fox’s NFL pre-game show and “Madtv” and he’s got the impressionist thing down. From a spot-on John Madden to President Bush, the cast of “Seinfeld,” Bill Clinton, Al Pacino, and Dr. Phil, Caliendo has plenty of material. In all, he does impressions of more than 50 people, while weaving the impersonations into comedy skits.

Ellen Degeneres will host her own musical variety sketch show for one night in November on TBS. “Ellen’s Really Big Show” will be shot at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as part of HBO and AEG’s annual Comedy Festival and will air on Sunday, Nov. 18th. Read the rest of this entry »
