The latest buzz is that Levi Johnston has been approached about being a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars” and “Survivor.”

So says his bodyguard/manager (?) Tank, anyway.

Tank and Levi Johnston fed the rumor mill during an interview at last night’s GQ Man of the Year event:

In the Survivor Samoa promo, the scene looks pretty scary, as Russell Swan drops to the ground and medical staff rush to his attention.

Jeff Probst comments that is “the scariest moment I’ve ever had on the show.”

The reality show “Survivor: Samoa” plans to continue airing, despite the tsunami disaster that triggered an earthquake on the island nations of Samoa and American Samoa.

Survivor Samoa was filmed over the summer on the island of Upolu, so production of the reality series has since wrapped.

CBS was deciding whether to pull the series or include a public service announcement for flood relief. As of this writing, Survivor: Samoa is scheduled to air Thursday at 8.

Survivor winner Richard Hatch was taken to jail yesterday just hours after his Today show interview with Matt Lauer aired.

Richard Hatch was arrested and taken to the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office in Bourne, Massachusetts – he had been living under house arrest in his sister’s Newport, Rhode Island home.

Richard Hatch had maintained he had permission to do the Today show interview, but seems the authorities don’t agree and believe he had inproper contact with the public.

Richard Hatch said during the Today show interview that he believes he’s innocent of the tax evasion charges against him, saying that he went to prison because he’s a homosexual.

Details about Hatch’s return to jail are sketchy, with a Sheriff’s Office spokesman telling MSNBC.com: “We just don’t have the same kind of details on the federal inmates we book as we do with the regular city and county inmates. It’s got to be that he violated some kind of condition. There’s no other reason this would have happened.”

Richard Hatch was scheduled for house arrest release on October 7.

What Ethan Zohn thought was originally a skin condition including unexplained itching and night sweats, was explained by a swollen lymph node under his left clavicle, with a CT scan revealing a mass on the left side of his chest.

Further testing revealed that Ethan Zohn is suffering from a rare form of the disease called CD20-positive Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; the Survivor winner started chemotherapy last Friday.

Ethan Zohn told People.com, “This is the ultimate game of Survivor, and there’s really only one outcome, and that’s to win. There’s no other option.”

Ethan Zohn’s girlfriend, Survivor: The Amazon winner Jenna Morasca, is standing by her man, saying, “I will fight with every fabric of my being to get him through this.”

Zohn has a positive outlook on his cancer diagnosis, saying, “This is happening for a reason. You have to get spiritual about this [stuff]. I know I want to help people and inspire people. That’s my purpose in life. So I need to use this as a platform.”

James “J.T.” Thomas, from Samson, Alabama said of winning Survivor Tocantins, “I can’t help it. I’m happy — it’s probably the happiest I’ve ever been in my life, obviously.”

Watch for Jenna Morasca when she makes her debut on on Spike TV’s TNA iMPACT, March 12, at 9 p.m.

Morasca said of her wrestling experience, “Everyone is covered in glitter and makeup and stuff and then goes and beats the crap out of each other. This is perfect for me.”
