
The special guest stars are ramping up for the post Super Bowl episode of The Office. The latest is the announcement that Jessica Alba will make an appearance on the hour-long The Office, joining previously announced guest star Jack Black.
Look for Jessica Alba and Jack Black to appear in The Office episode “Stress Relief,” airing Sunday, February 1 at 10:30.

EW.com has the scoop on a special guest appearance by Jack Black on the post-Super Bowl episode of The Office. Jack Black will appear on the hour long episode – although details about his character have yet to be revealed.

As TV Crunch reported last month, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been selected to perform as the halftime show entertainment at the 2009 Super Bowl XLIII.
The Super Bowl halftime show is a huge gig – ranked annually as the most-watched musical performance show. Last year, more than 148 million viewers in the U.S. watched the Super Bowl halftime show.

While it was The Office spin-off that was to air immediately following the Super Bowl, now the original Office will be filling that timeslot.
Watch for The Office to air after the February 1, 2009 Super Bowl – an hour-long episode, no less! No details so far on the plot, but executive producer Paul Lieberstein (Toby Flenderson on the show) told EW.com that more attention may be given to cast members “who only get grunts or reactions when Michael says something stupid.”

Page Six is reporting that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play the Super Bowl Half Time Show in February 2009.

Who could forget the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show featuring Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson – and ending with Janet Jackson’s now infamous “wardrobe malfunction”? The Associated Press is reporting that the federal appeals court threw out a $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. for the incident.
Does this mean we’ll be seeing more wardrobe malfunctions on TV?
