Super funny “Party Down” star Adam Scott is joining the cast of “Parks and Recreation.”… But that means he’s leaving Party Down, so ya know, kind of bittersweet news.

Megan Mullally joins Starz Party Down
Megan Mullally landed a role on the Starz comedy “Party Down,” playing new character Lydia Dunfree.

Lydia Dunfree leaves her small town behind to help her daughter pursue an acting career, picking up a job with the Party Down catering team. If you haven’t checked out Party Down yet, give it a try – it’s easily one of the funniest shows on television – sadly, Party Down’s new season doesn’t air until April 2010.
