Oh no! Sounds like Lauren Alaina either stopped because she forgot the Star Spangled Banner’s words or her microphone cut out. Either way, she sounded really good.

Deschanel did a great job with the Star Spangled Banner – she didn’t even flub the words, like some other celebs have been known to do!

Zooey Deschanel, star of “New Girl,” did the national anthem honors at the World Series and I really liked it. Nothing fancy, no over-the-top flourishes, just a straight up anthem with Zooey’s unique voice.

Zooey tweeted today: “hey! she & him christmas record is out today! it’s on amazon and itunes”

First? A microphone that doesn’t work. Second? Scotty McCreery sounds like he’s singing “No Jose…”

McCreery had to start over after a microphone malfunction, but the American Idol winner did a good country-fied version of the National Anthem.

Then came Scotty McCreery’s National Anthem lyrics flub, as he’s heard singing: “No José does that star-spangled banner yet wave…”

Oops.

A man in the crowd at the Frys.com Open on Sunday called out “Tiger, Tiger” before throwing a hot dog at Woods – he was unharmed by the flying weiner.

Woods said, “When I looked up it was already in the air. The bun was kind of disintegrating there.”

Woods explained that the man “came running on the green and he had a hot dog.”

Tiger added, “I don’t know how he tried to throw it, but I was kind of focusing on my putt when he started yelling. Next thing I know he laid on the ground and looked like he wanted to be arrested. He put his hands behind his back and turned his head.”

What a weiner.

Interestingly, Cyndi Lauper messed up the same section that Aguilera did: instead of singing “O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming,” Lauper sang, “O’er the ramparts we watched as our flag was still streaming.”

Animal Kingdom won the Kentucky Derby in a surprising push to the finish. Animal Kingdom, ridden by John Velazquez, rode past the competition in the final stretch, with a clear lead ahead of the competitors.

The Kentucky Derby 2011 also saw record crowds, with an estimated 164,858 people in attendance, beating the 1974 record of 163,628.

Jenn Sterger tells GMA during the interview (video): “I haven’t made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures. Not from Favre.”

The Jenn Sterger Good Morning America GMA interview airs Tuesday and Wednesday on GMA, as well as on Tuesday night’s “Nightline.”

Sterger explains, “I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine. I’m not a gold-digger. The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job.”

Jenn Sterger talks about being humiliated by the Brett Favre scandal: “You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job. But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That’s all I wanted.”

Sterger also explains being approached by someone who wanted her phone number for Brett Favre: “I was approached one day at the beginning of the preseason games, by a man wearing a Jets badge, employee badge, who asked me, ‘How would you feel if Brett Favre asked for your phone number? What would you say?”‘

Sterger said she responded: ” ‘I’d say I like my job an awful lot. And I’ve been told I look remarkably like his wife.’”
