Mr. Blackwell’s Worst Dressed List – Britney Spears Not Included

Mr. Blackwell tells it like it is when it comes to the fashionable inept. He is somewhat forgiving however, giving Britney Spears a free pass even though she clearly had many a fashion blunder last year. Mr. Blackwell commented that “it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her [Britney Spears] personal life is in such upheaval. I hope 2008 is a better year for her.”

Here’s the top 10 rundown – you’ll notice a few television folks on the list (although I’m still scratching my head about why Nellie (Alison Arngrim) of “Little House on the Prairie” makes the list.

10 – Alison Arngrim: “Little Nellie of the prairie, looks like a 1940’s fashion editor for the Farmers Almanac.”
9 – Lindsay Lohan: “Lindsay the fashion frenzy strikes again! Lohan takes fashion to a new low.”
8 – Jessica Simpson: “Forget the Cowboys. In prom queen screams, can it get any worse? She’s a global fashion curse!”
7 – Avril Lavigne: “Gothic make-up courtesy the mad spatula – Fashions provided by.. The house of Dracula!”
6 – Eva Green: “Stuck in neon nightmares not fit for the sane. Fashion this loud could give Bond a migraine! A profusion of confusion from toes to nose!”
5 – Kelly Clarkson: “Her heavenly voice soars above the rest… but those belly-baring bombs are hellish at best! She may be the queen of ‘Pro-Active’ – but that wardrobe looks downright radioactive!”
4 – Fergie: “Another style-free ‘Fergie’ in fashion’s hall of shame? Yes, when it comes to couture chaos, guess it’s all in a name!”

Spice Girls Rock the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Last night’s taping of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show marked the debut of the Spice Girls reunion performance. Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham performed at the Kodak Theater for an excited crowd that included Lauren Conrad of “The Hills,” Eva Longoria from “Desperate Housewives” and Hayden Panettiere of “Heroes.”

According to Panettiere, “The Spice Girls were great. I knew every word to the first song. Enough said.”

The Spice Girls performed “Stop” and “Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).” As expected, the spicy ladies lip-synched their performance.

The Spice Girls: Greatest Hits is on sale at Victoria’s Secret stores and online. They begin their world tour on December 2nd.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Goes on with Will.i.am

While Kanye West pulled out of his performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show due to his mother’s death, there will be someone filling in. Will.i.am, of Black Eyed Peas, will be performing in West’s absence when the show airs on December 4th on CBS. The Spice Girls will also be on hand, marking their debut reunion performance.

Baby Spice Launches Television Talk Show In The U.K

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell is in talks to host a new British TV show designed to help troubled people meet their famous heroes.

The expectant mother is holding meetings with production company Talkback Thames about the show.

An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, “The idea is to spice up people’s lives by showing them that people they admire have similar insecurities.

“For example we might get someone who gets drunk a lot to hang out with a star who’s battled the bottle.”
