I’m not gonna call Jennifer Hudson a diva… but she re-taped her performance at the “Movies Rock” event to get it just right. Apparently, the first time she sang Somewhere (from West Side Story) wasn’t good enough, so she requested a do-over of the performance due to a “piano glitch.”
Check out the perfected version of Jennifer Hudson’s performance when “Movies Rock” airs Friday at 9 PM on CBS.
Check it out – Barbara Walters is presenting her special of The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007 – tomorrow night (December 6) at 10 PM on ABC.
The famous faces she’ll interview include: Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, Justin Timberlake, Katherine Heigl, Jennifer Hudson, Don Imus, President Clinton, and MySpace’s Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe. Who will be the most fascinating of them all?
Fergie will join the lineup of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2008” as an emcee and performer.
Other performers on the New Year’s Eve bill are: will.i.am, Plain White T’s, Natasha Bedingfield, Akon, Sean Kingston, Taylor Swift and OneRepublic. Watch all the fun during this annual televised countdown, starting at 10 PM on ABC
Now here’s a special that has some potential – a celebration of music and movies – called “Movies Rock.” The two-hour show will air on CBS on Friday at 9 PM, but the event took place last night. And the stars were out in full force…
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony were on hand to provide a glimpse of JLo’s growing belly. Beyonce sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Fergie sang “Live and Let Die,” Usher provided his version of “Singin’ in the Rain,” Chris Brown sang an energetic version of “Jailhouse Rock” and will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas, Busta Rhymes, Eve and LL Cool J took on the theme from “Shaft.” Too cool.
Additionally, Jennifer Hudson sang “Somewhere” from “West Side Story,” Carrie Underwood took on “The Sound of Music,” and Queen Latifah belted out “Big Spender.”
Barbara Walters has snagged the first interview with radio personality Don Imus, who was fired in April for his racist and sexist on-air remarks about the Rutgers women’s basketball team. Barbara Walters’ interview with Don Imus will air on her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2007” special on December 6th on ABC. Do his comments and subsequent scandal make him fascinating? Seems Walters could have set her sights a little higher.
