Pee-Wee Herman is getting a long overdue HBO special, with his Pee-Wee Herman Show on Broadway being filmed for a 2011 HBO airing.

HBO SVP of Original Programming Nancy Geller said of the Pee-Wee Herman special: “Before his hit series and movies, HBO introduced Paul Reubens’ Pee-wee Herman to a national audience in the Young Comedians series, followed by the groundbreaking 1981 special.”

Were Boyz II Men lip syncing during their Christmas at Rockefeller performance yesterday? The video tells the tale of a Milli Vanilli/Ashlee Simpson moment, as Charice takes to the stage to sing, but the Boyz II Men pre-recorded track comes up instead.

Boyz II Men lip synching scandal exposed, right?!

Boyz II Men had performed “This Christmas,” then Charice and David Foster took to the stage for “Jingle Bell Rock” – the Boyz II Men song started to replay instead, then sound engineers worked to get things on track.

A Boyz II Men spokesperson shot down the lip sync rumors, saying, “They did not lip sync,” adding it was “a mess up from tech in [the] control room.”

Before he comes to TBS as a late night host, the network is giving Conan O’Brien’s team a comedy special called “Team Coco Presents Conan’s Writers Live.”

TBS and the Just for Laughs comedy festival are bringing Andy Richter and Conan’s writers to Chicago next month for the one-hour special to be taped during the TBS “Very Funny” Festival: Just for Laughs on June 17.

TBS will air the Conan special on June 27.
