Alison Sweeney delivered baby girl
Days of Our Lives star and Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney finally gave birth Monday at midnight. Sweeney named her baby girl Megan Hope Sanov – pretty normal, by celebrity standards.

Her rep confirmed the happy baby news saying, “Both mommy and baby – and daddy, too – are doing well. She’s still in hair and makeup from her day on the set! It was a very easy delivery, and everybody is great.”

The Soup’s Joel McHale showed a video clip the other day with All My Children star Cameron Mathison wearing a thong. Cameron Mathison stopped by the December 10 The View to set the record straight – he does not wear thongs!

Cameron Mathison paid the ladies of The View a surprise visit to demonstrate that his t-shirt got caught in his jeans during the scene in question – it was not a thong!

This news is sure to hit Days of Our Lives fans hard: Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Days’ stars Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans) and Drake Hogestyn (John Black) have been fired due to budget cuts.

Days of Our Lives Executive Producer Ken Corday tells Soap Opera Digest, “The couple will be happily reunited after a long period of angst and separation and will be off-screen after January for an unknown period of time. It was a very tough decision to make.”
