Crystal Chappell has returned to Salem! Check out this video clip of what’s to come now that her character, Carly Manning Alamain, returning to Days of Our Lives. Carly last appeared on DOOL in 1993 – this takes me back to watching Days of Our Lives between classes in college and loving Carly.
How will Carly’s return to Days affect Bo and Hope’s relationship? And wow, has “Hope” (Kristian Alfonso) always been that skinny?
Wow, the end of an era. ”Guiding Light” ends its 72-year run today – not too shabby, considering the soap has aired more than 15,000 episodes and gotten scores of Emmy awards.

Sad news for fans of the long running soap opera Guiding Light – CBS has canceled the daytime sudser due to declining raings.

Seems Marlena and John aren’t the only long-time couple to get fired from Days of Our Lives – Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Patch and Kayla also got the axe from DOOL.
Something tells me if fans weren’t bailing on Days of Our Lives for the John/Marlena cut, they’ll be bailing on DOOL now that Patch and Kayla (played by Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols) are on their way out. Read the rest of this entry »
Days of Our Lives star and Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney finally gave birth Monday at midnight. Sweeney named her baby girl Megan Hope Sanov – pretty normal, by celebrity standards.
Her rep confirmed the happy baby news saying, “Both mommy and baby – and daddy, too – are doing well. She’s still in hair and makeup from her day on the set! It was a very easy delivery, and everybody is great.”
The Soup’s Joel McHale showed a video clip the other day with All My Children star Cameron Mathison wearing a thong. Cameron Mathison stopped by the December 10 The View to set the record straight – he does not wear thongs!
Cameron Mathison paid the ladies of The View a surprise visit to demonstrate that his t-shirt got caught in his jeans during the scene in question – it was not a thong!
