Tom Cruise to Guest Judge So You Think You Can Dance?

Could Tom Cruise grace the judges’ panel as a guest host on So You Think You Can Dance? Hey, his wife Katie Holmes did the show, so anything’s possible.

Judge Adam Shankman commented, “Tom loves the show, so I hope so. I happen to love Tom, and Tom loves dancing, so it would be great.”

SYTYCD host Cat Deeley was over the moon about Tom Cruise when Katie appeared on the show, saying, “I’d never met him before so I had no idea what to expect. He was an absolute sweetheart. He was taking videos of his little girl and wife. Just like any guy, he was incredibly proud of his spouse.”

So You Think You Can Dance choreographer/judge Mia Michaels’ shaved head seen in last night’s episode of SYTYCD (video) has rumors swirling that Michaels has cancer. Her newly shaved head has fans concerned – is the reason she’s left the show cancer or some other illness… or has Mia Michaels moved on to other opportunities?

While there’s been no confirmation that Mia Michaels’ shaved head is anything more than a new haircut, we do of course know that Mia took to Twitter to announce that she’s leaving So You Think You Can Dance, saying that she looked forward to what was ahead of her.

Mia Michaels posted this on Wednesday night on Facebook:

“It’s been an amazing five years on SYTYCD. I thank them for all the great memories and movement I have been able to create for the world. Today was my official resignation of the U.S. show and look forward to what’s ahead for me.”

On Twitter, she had announced: “I AM OFFICIALLY AN ADORING FAN OF SYTYCD….THANK U FOR 5 WONDERFUL YRS… TO CREATE MOMENTS AND MOVEMENT FOR THE WORLD TO SHARE WITH ME WAS A GIFT…THANKS SYTYCD AND LOOK FORWARD TO WHATS AHEAD FOR ME…LOOKOUT WORLD!!!!!”

Mia Michaels Quits So You Think You Can Dance, Twitters About It

Wow, this is kind of surprising… choreographer Mia Michaels has quit So You Think You Can Dance! Michaels took to her Twitter account to break the news:

“I am officially an adoring fan of SYTYCD…Thank U for 5 wonderful yrs. To create moments and movement for the world to share with me was a gift…Thanks SYTYCD and look forward to what’s ahead for me…lookout world!”

SYTYCD’s top 20 contestants will be revealed on Wednesday.

It appears that an excited contestant on So You Think You Can Dance flashed more of herself than expected. As she fell excitedly to the floor, the cameras captured a flash of crotch shot – and naturally, slow motion videos of the SYTYCD vagina flash are making the rounds online.

The slow motion So You Think You Can Dance flash video shows the young woman exposing herself… how about some underwear, ladies?

TMZ is reporting that they received this statement from Fox: “It is a crease in the young lady’s panties.”

Mmmhmmm. Sure.

So You Think You Can Dance 2009 Winner: Jeanine Mason Won SYTYCD Season 5 Finale

It came down to Jeanine Mason and Brandon Bryant on the So You Think You Can Dance 2009 season 5 finale – but there’s only one winner, as you know! In the end, it was Jeanine who won SYTYCD season 5.

The finale revealed America’s favorite dancer to be Jeanine… do you agree?? Jeanine was totally adorable after she found out she won too – well deserved.

So You Think You Can Dance Breast Cancer Ade, Melissa “This Woman’s Work” (Video)

Wow. Ade and Melissa’s contemporary dance performed to “This Woman’s Work” by Maxwell was stunning, emotional. After their performance, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, thanks to amazing choreography by Tyce Diorio and an emotional story inspired by his friend’s battle with breast cancer.

Watch Ade and Melissa dance to “This Woman’s Work” in the video clip. Guest judge Ellen DeGeneres called their performance “the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” while Mia Michaels commented, “What an important piece of work.”

Ellen DeGeneres will serve as a guest judge on next week’s So You Think You Can Dance – DeGeneres and choreographer Mia Michaels will join judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy to judge the remaining 8 finalists on Wednesday, July 22.

Next week’s 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance, on July 23, will feature a special performance of “Get Happy” by Katie Holmes.

All the rumors about Katie Holmes rehearsing to perform on So You Think You Can Dance can now be put to rest. People.com has confirmed that Katie Holmes will perform a Judy Garland dance tribute on the 100th episode of SYTYCD, airing July 23.

According to exec producer Nigel Lythgoe, she will wear “the jacket, the little hat. It’s just an iconic look. And Katie Holmes has got the legs. Wow!”

Katie Holmes is rumored to be performing on an upcoming episode of So You Think You Can Dance – the buzz started after Katie Holmes had a meeting with SYTYCD producer Nigel Lythgoe.

In this picture, Katie Holmes was spotted arriving at CBS Studios for a rehearsal. Reports peg the July 8 100th episode of So You Think You Can Dance as the date to watch Katie Holmes’ performance.

Nigel Lythgoe recently told Usmagazine.com: “I think it’s fair to say it’s a rumor. I’m not making any comments at this point.”
