After dropping the F-bomb on SNL the other night, many started to wonder if Jenny Slate would be fired for her f-word slip up. Jenny Slate accidentally said “fucking” instead of frickin, but continued on with the biker chick chat sketch (despite a brief blowfish-in-the-headlights moment).
NBC spokeswoman Sharon Pannozzo said there’s “no truth to firing conjecture. She will not be fired.”
There still begs the question of whether or not SNL will be fined by the FCC though.
Lorne Michaels says of Jenny Slate’s f-bomb “It was literally her first time on the show. There was nothing dirty, just a slip of the tongue. It was ‘frickin’, frickin’, frickin’ ‘ and then boom! The pain that Jenny is going through is, I’m sure, considerably worse than that experienced by anybody who saw it.”

Check out the second SNL Digital Short of the night – when Andy Samberg meets Megan Fox’s roommate, Transformers’ Optimus Prime, in this video clip. Oh yeah, and nice turn by Fox’s boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, as Bumblebee.
They’re transformation are more than meets the eye, for sure.
The Jenny Slate f-bomb during last night’s SNL had people chattering – what a way for new cast memeber Slate to make an impression, accidentally saying “fucking” during the Biker Chick Chat sketch (video clip of the f-bomb above).
Then again, the Biker Chick Chat sketch aired in the final 20 minutes of the show, so how many people stuck around to hear Jenny Slates fucking slip-up in this lackluster SNL hosted by Megan Fox?

There’s a little buzz that the powers-that-be at Saturday Night Live are trying to recruit Twilight star Robert Pattinson to host an upcoming SNL. So far, there’s been no luck in getting Pattinson on board for the hosting gig, but there’s plenty of interest.
SNL head writer/cast member Seth Meyers told E! Online, “Yes, absolutely. We would love to get Robert Pattinson. We’re actually hoping if [Rob's] not available, at least his hair will come by and host.”Read the rest of this entry »
