There is life after Joey for actor Matt LeBlanc! Showtime announced that former Friends star Matt LeBlanc will be starring in a new sitcom about “a British couple whose hit UK show is turned into a dumbed-down American sitcom starring LeBlanc (as himself).”
Sounds like it has a lot of potential. The series, called “Episodes,” comes from Friends creator David Crane and Mad About You creator Jeffrey Klarik and will debut in 2010 on Showtime and BBC Two.
Seth Meyer will no longer go solo at the Saturday Night Live Weekend Update desk – SNL player Kristen Wiig will be taking on the role of co-anchor during the news segment.
Kristen Wiig has some big shoes to fill – taking over the post left vacant by Amy Poehler – but no doubt she’ll hold her own.
Well, that’s one way to extend a show concept – Showtime is taking “The L Word” and making it a reality series. Nine episodes of “The Real L Word: Los Angeles” will chronicle six lesbians living in Los Angeles
