There is life after Scrubs for Donald Faison – he’s been cast in the ABC comedy pilot “The Law,” co-starring Cedric the Entertainer.

“The Law” will feature Donald Faison and Cedric the Entertainer as reserve LAPD officers. No other plot details have been revealed.

Looks like there’s sitcom life for The Janitor (Neil Flynn), when Scrubs ends its run. Neil Flynn has been cast as Patricia Heaton’s husband in ABC’s comedy pilot “The Middle.”

The Middle is a comedy centered around a middle-class couple in middle America (middle – get it?) – who are raising their three kids and coping like the rest of us.

Scrubs’ fans… we have a season 8 premiere date on ABC. Check out Scrubs on Tuesday, January 6 at 9 p.m. when it kicks off what will likely be the final season of the comedy series (unless they plan to continue without the series’ original cast members…).

Scrubs will kick off with an hour of back-to-back episodes for two weeks, before settling in to a single half hour on Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
