It was inevitable – VH1 had to change the name of “Scott Baio is 45… and Single” – because, well, for season two, he’s another year older and expecting a baby with new wife Renee Sloan.

If you caught the first season – “Scott Baio is 45… and Single,” you saw a commitment-phobe who worked with a life coach to overcome his issues. And overcame he did – during the season finale (of course), he told girlfriend Renee Sloan that he was ready to get married.

The reality show “Scott Baio is 45… and Single” chronicled the former teen hearththrob as he worked with a life coach to conquer his commitment phobia. The season finale ended with Scott Baio asking Renee Sloan to marry him – and with Renee announcing her pregnancy.

Now, Scott Baio and Renee Sloan have made it official – the couple got married over the weekend on an L.A. rooftop.

Scott Baio, who let us all in on his life in “Scott Baio is 45… and Single,” is a new daddy! You may recall the season one finale — just as he tells his girlfriend, Renee Sloan, that he’s ready to commit, she drops the bomb that she’s pregnant. Sloan was due in December, but their little Baio baby girl came early, born November 2nd. The baby weighed 5 lbs., 10 oz., but her name has not yet been released. Sloan has an 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

So, Baio is now 46, no longer single and has a baby. How is VH1 going to re-title the second season of the series?

VH1 has ordered a second season of tbe Summer 2007 Top Ten Cable Hit “Scott Baio Is 45 . . . and Single.” The reality series chronicles the life of former “Charles in Charge” and “Happy Days” star Scott Baio as he struggles with commitment phobia. The nine episode new season goes into production this Fall and will follow Scott as he attempts to adjust to life as a new father.
