But now, she’s hinting in a USA Today interview and on her blog that she and Kelli Carpenter have “issues.”

O’Donnell commented: “We’re a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues.”

Rosie O’Donnell and Carpenter were married in San Francisco in 2004 and have four children.

O’Donnell commented: “They’re adorable and wonderful and they are by far a priority. Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties.”

As for a break up, Rosie wouldn’t confirm it in so many words, but did say: “But everything’s fine and everybody’s good and we’re still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we’re friendly and everything’s all right.”

Rosie O’Donnell’s rep says, “There is no truth to this – at all,” in response to rumors that Rosie and partner Kelli Carpenter-O’Donnell have split.

The reason for the Rosie O’Donnell/Kelli Carpenter split rumor stemmed from work travel, according to her rep: “This is ridiculous. I get this rumor every time Rosie travels for work. Right now she is on tour with Cyndi Lauper.”

Rosie O’Donnell was offered the gig after appearing on Howard Stern’s radio show.

Of Howard Stern, Rosie says, “He’s been very encouraging. After I did his show, they called and asked if I was interested. I don’t really listen to radio, so I started thinking about it and listening. I asked if they could possibly do it at my house because that would really make it convenient for me with four kids, and they said yes, so I was like, ‘Wow. Let’s try that.’”

Rosie O’Donnell’s Wednesday night attempt at a variety show, titled Rosie Live, brought in just 5 million viewers.

Reviews were not kind either. Wonder if this will put the kibosh on any future Rosie Live attempts.

First of all, Rachael Ray will be a guest on today’s The View, which I wouldn’t expect much discussion of Rosie… but look for Rosie O’Donnell on a three-day gig on Rachael Ray’s show, beginning Monday in advance of her Rosie Live! variety show on Wednesday night.

Rachael Ray said of Rosie O’Donnell appearing on her show: “She’s fantastic television. She’s a fantastic human. … I love that she’s here at Thanksgiving time. She’s one of the things I’m thankful for.”

Rosie O’Donnell told reporters while promoting her variety special, “Rosie Live,” that on The View, they “wanted everyone to believe and think and act as if [the women on 'The View'] get along and are really good friends and happy and hang out together, and, you know, that’s just not the reality. I’m not saying they loathe each other, but the fact of the matter is there was not a lot of camaraderie off camera.”

Look for celebrity guests, musical acts, skits and a contest for the in-studio and home audiences.

Craig Plestis, NBC Entertainment’s exec VP for alternative programming, development and specials says of “Rosie’s Variety Show:” “We want to show people that variety can be done in a new and inventive way for 2008. We hope to do it in ways you haven’t seen before. It’s going to be the YouTube of variety shows..”

According to Rosie O’Donnell’s rep, “Rosie thinks that Cindy Adams is a lesbian but she doesn’t know it yet.”
