Rescue Me returns tonight after a very long break from TV – tune in to FX tonight, April 7, for the premiere episode of the 5th season of Rescue Me, called “Baptism.” In all, 22 episodes of Rescue Me will air this season, including five featuring special guest star Michael J. Fox.
Check out the video promo for Rescue Me where the cast is larger than life. Rescue Me has already been renewed for season 6.

It’s always great to see Michael J. Fox back on the small screen. Look for Michael J. Fox to appear in a guest starring role on four episdodes of the FX series “Rescue Me,” playing a wheelchair-bound character.
Michael J. Fox told Entertainment Tonight, “The funny part is me playing a paralyzed guy because I am the opposite of paralyzed. It’s tricky just to even just to be still.”

Since Denis Leary’s negative comments about autism in his new book, we’ve been waiting to hear from autism activist Jenny McCarthy. Naturally, the outspoken actress had a few choice words, calling Leary “obviously stupid.” Read the rest of this entry »

Denis Leary is an asshole – that’s sort of his schtick. But in his new book, “Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid,” Denis Leary pushes the envelope too far when he blames “inattentive mothers” for autism and says that kids diagnosed with autism are “stupid” or “lazy.”

Michael J. Fox is returning to the small screen – in not one, but two shows! Michael J. Fox is in talks to appear in guest roles on both Rescue Me and Scrubs.
While no deal has yet been reached for Michael J. Fox’s appearance on Rescue Me, sources say that he would join the series as a love interest for Tommy’s (Denis Leary) ex, Janet (Andrea Roth). Read the rest of this entry »

There’s a long wait ahead for Rescue Me fans – but FX has a solution to keep everyone sorta happy during their 19 months (!) off the air – “minisodes,” or five-minute Rescue Me segments that will air Tuesdays at 10 ET/PT beginning June 24.
