Well, if nothing else, you can say that Brandon Black, 20, of Pompano Beach, Florida is unique – from his entrance into the audition room, to his singing of “I’ll Make Love to You” and “I am the Next American Idol.” Not surprisingly, the judges all say no and things get awkward, as you can see in this “American Idol 7″ Miami audition video.
Suzanne Toon, 21, of Clearwater, Florida is a single mom who got pregnant when she was 18. She hasn’t sung for three years and wants to succeed on “American Idol” to give her daughter more.
Suzanne Toon sngs “I Can’t Make You Love Me” in this “American Idol 7″ Miami audition video clip and gets a “Yes” from all three judges.
Julie Dubela, 16, of Stratham, New Hampshire has done the “American Idol” thing before — well, kind of. Julie Dubela was in the top 20 on “American Juniors” four years ago (Remember that show? Sadly, I do!).
Julie Dubela sings “Me and Bobby McGee,” by Janis Joplin in this “American Idol 7″ video clip — and the judges are unimpressed, finding Julie’s delivery to be too much acting. She’s shocked to hear “no” from the judges and even attempts to sing another son and dispute their decision. In the end, she’s pretty bitter.
Corliss Smith and Brittany Wescott, both 20, from Jacksonville, Florida like to have fun — and hit on boys! The women explain how they share the same tastes and it’s like they were separated at birth.
Corliss Smith (who likes Randy) sang “Take Five” and Brittany Wescott (who likes Simon) sang “My Guy” in this “American Idol 7″ Miami audition video clip. These women were phenomenal!
Wow, I really wanted Shannon McGough, 18, or Okeechobee, Florida to be better — after all, she’s grinding and chopping meat at the family’s meat market. Oh, and she can burp really loudly. That’s fun, right?
Sadly, Shannon McGough doesn’t meet the judges approval in this “American Idol 7″ Miami auditions video clip. She even tries to sing a different audition song, but overall Simon thinks it sounds like she’s eating while she sings. No’s across the board.

If you’ve found the new “Celebrity Apprentice” a breath of fresh air in the “Apprentice” franchise, then you’re in luck — Donald Trump will return for a second season of “Celebrity Apprentice.” If you’ve found it uninspired, well, then… you’ll just have to skip it. Read the rest of this entry »
Leo Marlowe, 23, of Charlotte, Iowa was the last person to audition for “American Idol 7″ in Omaha, Nebraska in this video clip.
Leo Marlowe’s personality really shined through and he sounded amazing when he sang “A Song for You” by Donny Hathaway. Overall, I thought Leo Marlowe was adorable! Could he be one to watch in this competition?
David Cook, 24, from Tulsa, Oklahoma is the rocker for this season of “American Idol” — hey, you gotta have at least one!
Sporting a faux hawk, David Cook sang “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi in this “American Idol 7″ video clip and nailed it. It’ll be fun to follow the rocker this season — I think he could go far.
