I don’t know if I’m more happy with Lou Diamond Phillips as winner of I’m a Celebrity Get Met Out of Here because he was the most deserving one… or because it’s finally over!

Lou Diamond Phillips won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after a drama filled season that included the coming and going of celeb wannabe’s Heidi and Spencer.

Lou Diamond Phillips’ winnings went to his favorite charity, Art Has Heart, a non-profit organization that provides college scholarships for needy high school students.

MTV’s The Real World 23: Washington, D.C.

MTV’s 23rd season of The Real World is taking to the nation’s capital for its next locale.

MTV will begin production on The Real World in Washington, D.C. this summer, with a premiere date in 2010. Real World 22 in Cancun will air June 24.

The Real World Renewed for Four Seasons on MTV

It’s the reality series that just keeps going… MTV has announced that The Real World has been renewed for four more seasons.

We’re already in year 17 of The Real World – this renewal news will put the reality show into its 26th cycle.

Fans of “The Real World/Road Rules Challenge” will be glad to hear that the competition will be back for another four seasons as well.

“The Real World: Cancun” is already filming for the next installment of the series.

Party of Five’s Scott Wolf and Real World’s Kelley Limp Expecting Baby

Former Party of Five star Scott Wolf and wife, Real World: New Orleans alum Kelley Limp, are expecting a baby. That is going to be one beautiful baby.

Scott Wolf said of the baby news, “It’s the greatest feeling. It’s the greatest gift of all time!” Aww.

MTV’s The Gauntlet 3 Airs January 23rd (Video)

I don’t know why, but I can’t get enough of The Real World/Road Rules Challenges and “The Gauntlet” on MTV. Maybe it’s seeing the MTV reality veterans come out of hiding or maybe it’s all the trash talking that goes on – oh yeah, and the challenges too, I suppose.

MTV announced that “The Gauntlet 3” will premiere on January 23rd at 10 PM (ET), with 16 veterans and 16 newbies to “fight it out for over $400,000 in cash and prizes,” according to MTV. More details and a “Gauntlet 3″ sneak peak video after the jump.

“The Gauntlet 3” was already taped in Mexico last summer and promises “insane challenges, heart-stopping Gauntlets, crazy fights, surprising alliances, unexpected departures and more hook-ups than ever.” Wow. More hook-ups than ever?

TJ Lavin will continue hosting duties. Catch “The Gauntlet 3” January 23rd at 10 PM. The cast includes some regulars, like Coral, Beth (how old is she now?), CT, Robin, Katie and Diem.

“Real World San Diego” Star Frankie Abernathy Dies

Real World San Diego’s resident punk rock prom queen Frankie Abernathy died on Saturday at her mother’s home in Shorewood, Wisconsin. She was twenty-five.

Frankie suffered from hereditary cystic fibrosis, according to MTV News. One in 3,900 American children are born with this disease and that not even half survive to the age of thirty-seven. During her time in the San Diego house, Frankie had difficulty breathing and immune-system impairment. She ultimately left the house, before the end of the season, on Halloween 2003.
