Anna Paquin Bisexual: Paquin Admits “I’m Bisexual” in Give a Damn PSA (Video)

News that Anna Paquin is bisexual is burning up the internet, as Paquin admits in the “Give a Damn” PSA video, “I’m bisexual. And I give a damn.”

Anna Paquin, who stars as Sookie Stackhouse on HBO’s “True Blood,” announced that she is bisexual in a public service announcement for True Colors Fund’s Give a Damn campaign.

Other celebrities featured in the Give a Damn PSA series are Kim Kardashian, Elton John, Cynthia Nixon, Clay Aiken, Whoopi Goldberg, Wanda Sykes, Jason Mraz, Mya, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne and Cyndi Lauper.

Anna Paquin says in the PSA, “One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country.”

The Give a Damn campaign seeks to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.

Paquin is engaged to True Blook co-star Stephen Moyer.

Texting While Driving Video – Graphic Texting Car Accident PSA Hits Home

This texting while driving video may be a graphic representation of what can happen – but the PSA’s visual may just hit home with teens and other drivers who think there’s no risk of texing while driving.

The texting while driving PSA video was produced by a Gwent, Wales police department, but the graphic message applies in the states too. The Today show further analyzes the impact of the hard hitting commercial in this video clip.

Recent studies show texting while driving is the cause of up to a quarter of the estimated U.S. 40,000 vehicle fatalities each year.

It remains to be seen if the texting while driving PSA video will be shown in the U.S., but people are checking it out on YouTube and other websites.

Janeane Garofalo (and her hairy armpits) wants you to take place in Earth Hour, as seen in this funny PSA video. Earth Hour is a worldwide event on Saturday, March 28 – where everyone should turn their lights off for one hour – beginning at 8:30 p.m.

The World Wildlife Fund organized Earth Hour to raise awareness about climate change; An estimated 36 million people in the U.S. participated in the 2008 Earth Hour.
