Watch out reality television – “Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker’s (SJP) production company and the team behind “Project Runway” and “Top Chef” are partnering to develop a reality show for contemporary artists.
Think “Project Runway,” but with different artistic challenges – painting, sculpting, photography and industrial design. Read the rest of this entry »
I can’t explain it, but I’m a bit smitten with Tim Gunn from “Project Runway” – here he is in a video clip on Ellen DeGeneres.
Part 2 of Tim Gunn’s interview on Ellen – a rundown of 10 items every woman should own – after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

“Project Runway” host and Victoria’s Secret model Heidi Klum is in a bit of trouble – she’s just been sued by jewelry company Van Cleef & Arpels.
Apparently, Heidi Klum also has a jewelry line and one of her designs is, in Van Cleef & Arpels’ minds, a rip off. Read the rest of this entry »

Rumors are buzzing that Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) may serve as an upcoming judge on “Project Runway.” While nothing is yet confirmed, the gossip is that Heidi Klum is hoping to secure Victoria Beckham as one of her high profile guest judges on “Project Runway.”
Posh Spice certainly knows a thing or two about fashion and it would be interesting to see her in a different light. But will she crack a smile on the hit fashion design competition? That would truly be worth tuning in for.

Rather than continue with the “Project Runway” competition, Jack Mackenroth left the series to seek medical treatment for a contagious staph infection. To fill the void left by Jack Mackenroth’s departure, Chris March, who was last eliminated, returned to “Project Runway.”

You’ve got to hand it to Maxim magazine – always inventing new ways to celebrate women’s hotness. Their latest list of the 9 hottest pregnant women is interesting and I think it’s nice that the magazine is thinking outside of the realm of traditional hotness. Yes, pregnant women are hot too!
The ladies from the television universe that made Maxim’s “9 Hottest Pregnant Women, Ever” list are: Heidi Klum of “Project Runway,” Brooke Burke, host of “Rock Star,” and Jaime Pressly from “My Name is Earl.”

Kelly Ripa left “Live with Regis & Kelly” this morning about halfway through the show due to illness. The show, broadcast live from the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, featured Kelly Ripa early on seeming to have low energy. She got through the opening and an interview with Tim Gunn from “Project Runway,” but was not seen again for the rest of the show.
Co-host Regis Philbin said that Kelly Ripa was feeling “a little bit under the weather. We hope she’ll be back before the show is over.” She did not return for the rest of the show.
Kelly Ripa’s rep explained the illness as “a little case of the flu and she didn’t do the second show. That’s all. It’s holiday season and it’s flu season, even in the Bahamas.”

Did you catch Sarah Jessica Parker on “Project Runway” the other night? How excited must those contestants have been — face to face with one of the top celebrity fashionistas! Parker was a guest judge, and the winning dress from contestant Victorya Hong will be part of her fahion line, Bitten. “I loved Victorya’s design immediately when I saw it during my appearance on ‘Project Runway,’” Parker said in a statement. Bitten is SJP’s line where every piece is less than $19.98. You can’t beat that.
