Robert Knepper Joining Cast of “Heroes”

Robert Knepper, the villainous Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell from “Prison Break,” is joining the cast of Heroes next season. Naturally, Knepper will play the new lead villain on the NBC series.

Robert Knepper is set to play Samuel, who is “charismatic but evil, with a twisted sense of humor” in at least six Heroes episodes.

Prison Break’s Lane Garrison Released After Serving Year and a Half

Former Prison Break co-star Lane Garrison has been released from prison, after serving a year and half of his 40 month sentence for vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence and two alcohol-related charges. Lane Garrison was released this morning from California Correctional Institute.

According to a source, “He’s [Lane Garrison] done his time and now he’s looking forward to trying to move on with his life.”

Garrison was involved in a 2006 car crash that killed a 17-year-old boy and left a 15-year-old girl injured. He had taken cocaine and had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

The next step for Lane Garrison is treatment at an in-patient rehabilitation center to shorten his probation period.

Prison Break – Series to End This Season

Prison Break couldn’t go on forever – and FOX has just announced that this will be the final season of the drama.

FOX’s press release said: “The greatest escape on television comes to an end after four suspenseful seasons when PRISON BREAK returns for the series’ final episodes beginning Friday, April 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”

The press release further reveals details about the series finale of Prison Break:
“Following a series of double-crosses, the brothers now find themselves racing to retrieve SCYLLA, which unbeknownst to them has landed in the possession of their estranged mother and Company operative Christina (Kathleen Quinlan).”

Michael Rapaport Joining Fourth Season of Prison Break

Coming off his guest starring stint on “My Name is Earl,” Michael Rapaport has been cast for the fourth season of Fox’s drama “Prison Break.”

Michael Rapaport is set to play a government agent with an offer for Prison Break’s Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell).

How many of you will still tune in for Prison Break in its fourth season? After season two, my allegience to the show started to dip, but it will be interesting to see what season four has in store.

Prison Break Actor Lane Garrison May Get Early Release

Is this a case of fame getting someone off the hook? Lane Garrison, who previously co-starred on Prison Break, is serving time for a drunk driving incident that resulted in the death of a teenager. Now comes word that Lane Garrison may get an early release from his prison sentence.

Lane Garrison was sentenced to over three years of jail time, but he may be released on good behavior as soon as January.

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has fans raising money for the children’s charity UNICEF, through the website WentworthMillerFansForCharity.org.

According to Wentworth Miller, he couldn’t be more pleased with the project, saying,

“It’s my privilege to be a part of the entertainment business, an industry that has reached out to and touched the lives of billions of people around the world. It gives me tremendous pleasure to think that many of those same people have been motivated to reach out to others in turn. This charitable effort was conceived, organized and executed by a group of generous fans willing to donate their time and energies to a worthy cause. I’m honored to participate in this process, and I thank you for doing the same.”

Donations can be made at WentworthMillerFansForCharity.org from April 1 until June 30.

Dr. Sara Tancredi, Sarah Wayne Callies, Returns to Season 4 of Prison Break

Stop the presses! Dr. Sara Tancredi, played by Sarah Wayne Callies, is returning to Prison Break’s fourth season. Now, I know what you’re saying — she was just a head in a box in the third season!

But, by the magic of television, Sarah Wayne Callies’ Dr. Sara Tancredi will return. Hey, it could be anyone’s head in that box, right?! Suspension of disbelief…

This, of course, is good news for fans who were looking for things to heat up between Dr. Tancredi and Michael Scofield. Prison Break could use a little romance, huh?

Prison Break Renewed for Fourth Season

“Prison Break” will return for a fourth season, according to Nick Santora, writer and co-executive producer of the series.

Nick Santora broke the news on his blog that “Prison Break” has been renewed, saying:

“So we got word on Wednesday that we are officially picked up by the network for Season 4. This is great news. We are all very excited. We are moving offices onto the Fox Studio Lot next week and we had to say goodbye to the offices that were our home for the past 3 years … not really that sad because, well, c’mon, it’s just a frickin’ building. But my new office is about half the size with just a tiny window which normally would suck except for one thing … I get to go to work everyday with people I love and respect and I get to be creative. So I don’t really give a rat’s *** what our new offices look like! For those of you who celebrate Easter, have a great one. I will be at my home having Easter dinner with family (visiting cousins) and friends (including Prison Break writer Kalinda Vazquez) — it should be a nice weekend leading into an even better week of diving head-first into Season 4! Best, Nick.”
