Although it was an unofficial announcement, via The Ellen Show, it was revealed that Kate Walsh’s new show Private Practice has definitely been picked up. Private Practice is the new Grey’s Anatomy spinoff. It will be joining 9 other pilots on ABC (seven dramas, three comedies).
If it does as well as Grey’s Anatomy, Kate Walsh will be on a winner of a show for the second time straight.
Eric and Danielle may have won a million bucks together after coming in first on Sunday’s season finale of The Amazing Race. However, they were briefly on Canada AM this morning and apparently money really CAN’T buy you love, as the two admitted they are no longer dating.
Danielle explained the break-up was not related to their arguments on the show (and Eric also mentioned that they only showed the bad moments but neglected all the incredible times they had together) but rather because he lives in Florida and she lives in New York; he tried living in NYC for awhile but didn’t like it and she’s not ready to head South but they are still close friends.

Patrick Dempsey is ditching his Grey’s Anatomy scrubs temporarily as he film Made of Honor in L.A. with Kelly Carlson, known for her role on Nip/Tuck. Dempsey plays a man in love with his best friend but is forced to be her “maid” of honor.
Jennifer Aniston is reportedly teaming up with Naked Chef Jamie Oliver for an episode of Oprah Winfrey’s new reality TV show, “The Big Give”.
The premise of the reality show, hosted by Oprah of course, is to give a large sum of money to ten people who must find “the most powerful, sensational, emotional, and dramatic ways to give to others.”
Jamie Oliver used to cook for Jennifer and Brad, back in their happier times.
