The “Sesame Street” Michelle Obama visit is shaping up to be the first lady’s favorite thing. Michelle Obama said of her “Sesame Street” PSA with Elmo, it was “probably the best thing I’ve done so far in the White House.” Check out the video clip.

The Sesame Street Michelle Obama PSA was filmed earlier this week, with Michelle and Elmo talking about Sesame Street’s Healthy Habits for Life effort. The Sesame Street Healthy Habits for Life program not only promotes exercise and healthy eating habits for children, but encourages parents to be healthy role models for their kids. The Today show ran this piece about Barack Obama taking the presidential oath… again… last night. Since Tuesday’s inauguration day flub, where Chief Justice John Roberts misquoted the oath, President Barack Obama decided to retake the oath and make everything official.

Barack Obama re-took the oath Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the White House Map Room. Obama joked, “…We’re going to do it very slowly,” then following the oath, Roberts said, “Congratulations, again.”

Michelle Obama is taking some knocks for her white inaugural ball gown, but I think it was absolutely stunning. Michelle Obama’s ball gown was designed by Jason Wu, the 26 year old Taiwan-born, Manhattan-based designer who was a former intern of Narciso Rodriguez.

Jason Wu’s line started in 2006 and while Ivanka Trump, Lisa Cant, and supermodel Amber Valletta have worn his designs, no doubt Michelle Obama’s white inaugural ball gown will get him the most exposure. Read the rest of this entry »
