It sounds like MSNBC is done with the drama created by opinionated political co-anchors Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews — MSNBC has decided to replace Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews with David Gregory. Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews have not been fired from the network – they will continue to be commentators for MSNBC’s political coverage.

Don’t hold your breath for an Oprah/Palin interview – Oprah says, “I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show.”

When balloons attack! Check out Andrea Mitchell in this NBC news clip from the floor of last night’s Republican National Convention. A seemingly endless amount of balloons dropped from the ceiling after John McCain’s acceptance speech – virtually burying Andrea Mitchell!
