With the sad news that Kanye West’s mother, Donda, died during plastic surgery, the rumor mills are buzzing. Faster than you can say “malpractice,” reports surface that Dr. Jan Adams had two malpractice suits in his history and was arrested twice for DUI. What’s more, some gossipers are saying that Oprah Winfrey recommended the surgeon to Donda West.

Winfrey’s rep, however, issued a statement denying that she ever introduced the doctor and Ms. West. According to the statement, “Oprah Winfrey did not personally introduce nor recommend Dr. Jan Adams to Donda West. Dr. Adams taped a segment of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ on October 28, 2003. Donda West appeared with her son during a taping of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ on April 27, 2005. Oprah Winfrey has not been in touch with either Dr. Adams or Donda West since their respective appearances.”

Oprah moves fast! On Friday she will have more than 100 family members for an Osmond family reunion, including Marie Osmond and her brother Donny. The two will sing the theme song from The Donny and Marie Show, then Marie will show off some of her new dance moves and Donny will sing “Soldier of Love”.

Tuesday’s Oprah had Diddy revealing the winner of his online contest to discover a new personal assistant. The three finalists attended the show as guests, and lawyer Heather Thompson was chosen to be winner.

Following the allegations of physical and sexual abuse at Oprah Winfrey’s girls’ school in South Africa, a former employee has been arrested, though no name was released yet.

Oprah Winfrey tearfully apologized to the parents of her girls’ school in South Africa for the allegations of physical and sexual abuse that have happened there. “I’ve disappointed you,” she said. “I’m so sorry.”

Oprah Winfrey will be interviewing Bill Clinton on September 4th. His official reason for being there is to promote a philanthropy booked called “Giving”, but knowing Oprah’s non-shyness, I’m sure Hillary’s race to the White house will come up.
