Watch the Snooki ball drop tonight on MTV’s New Year’s Eve 2011 celebration – check out the pic of Snooki in the ball above during the taping for the stunt in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Snooki was originally going to do the ball drop from Times Square, but MTV’s request came in too late and they had to move the ball stunt to Jersey.

Snooki tweeted about the ball drop: “Don’t worry, I’m still gonna be your fricken’ NYE hamster in a ball!”

Stay classy, Snooki.

Every time we see Dick Clark’s hardly aging face, we have to ask “how old is Dick Clark?” Check him out in these Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve video clips. Clark turned 80 in 2009.

First up, there’s been a lot of negativity about how Dick Clark screwed up the 2010 ball drop countdown – he’s 80 and had a stroke in 2004. Give the guy a break – bless him for gracing the New Year’s Rockin Eve countdown at all.

Even though Ryan Seacrest has really taken over as host of the New Year’s Rockin Eve party, Dick Clark is still the master of this event, which he started in 1972.

So, cut the guy some slack if he missed a number here or there during the countdown – it’s not a fail… 2010 was coming whether Dick Clark counted it down right or not.

ABC Cancels Adam Lambert from Jimmy Kimmel Live, New Years Rockin’ Eve

Okay, I think Adam Lambert has learned his lesson after his racy AMA’s performance, but ABC continues to pull the plug on any Lambert performances. After cancelling Adam Lambert’s Good Morning America gig, now comes news that ABC has axed Lambert’s upcoming Jimmy Kimmel Live and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve appearances too.

An ABC spokesperson commented: “We decided not to move forward with the booking at this time.” Adam Lambert was to appear on the December 17 Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Lambert tweeted about the ABC’s New Years Rockin’ Eve cancellation, though the network has not yet confirmed that news.

Adam Lambert will perform on The Jay Leno Show on December 21.
