NBC reportedly wants Jimmy Fallon to replace Conan O’Brien when the late night host’s contract is up in 2009. NBC says, ““We know him from SNL and saw what he can do on-camera and off-camera, and I think he’d be terrific.”
Lindsay Lohan’s scheduled appearance on Tuesday night’s edition of ‘Tonight Show’ has been canceled following the actress second DUI arrest in a month. Lindsay had been scheduled to be a guest on the late-night talk show to promote her movie ‘I Know Who Killed Me.’ Lindsay has reportedly checked into the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs.
Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels has confirmed that NBC executives are discussing the possibility of a producing a reality series in which the audience would judge which skits are performed during dress rehearsal and wind up on the actual show.
A previously canceled ‘The Apprentice” will return to NBC in 2008, starring D-Listed celebrities. No word yet on an airdate for the new season.
